Update 2023-01
Access over 225,000 chemical substances with detailed safety data and compliance information.
In late December 2022, the latest list of legal limit values for occupational exposure to hazardous substances in the Netherlands was published (Staatscourant, no. 32933, dated December 12, 2022). The following changes have been made to this list:
1. Substances to which one can be exposed as gas or vapor now also have a limit value in ppm. 2. Arsenic and compounds are carcinogens. The limit value for Arsenic and compounds has been reduced by a factor of 100 to the target risk level of 0.28 ug/m3. 3. Soybean flour is added to flour dust. The full name therefore becomes: Flour dust (wheat, rye, hash, soybean and barley flour). 4. The legal limit value for Flour Dust is increased from 1.2 to 4 mg/m3. The reason is that for companies transporting soybeans in bulk, the already applicable legal limit of 1.2 mg/m3 is not feasible (a value of 4 mg/m3 is). Other secotren are otherwise able to meet the 1.2 mg/m3 limit.
The above additions and changes have been implemented in DOHSBase Online. DOHSBase Online is a software application that provides access to occupational exposure limit values, among other things. Besides Dutch sources, many foreign sources are also used:With DOHSBase Online you always have access to the most current limit values!
