DOHSBase was first published by the NVvA's Working Group on Limit Values and Measurement Methods, marking the beginning of our journey in occupational hygiene.
Building on initial success, the second version of DOHSBase was released, incorporating user feedback and expanded data.
To ensure the program's continuity and professional growth, members of the original working group established DOHSBase v.o.f., leading to the release of the third version.
Embracing technological advancements, DOHSBase 4 was launched for Windows 3.x and higher, enhancing user accessibility and experience.
A 32-bit application designed for Windows 95 and later versions, offering improved performance and a modern interface.
The beta version of the Compare mode was introduced, allowing users to evaluate and compare the risk potential of different substances in workplace environments.
Reflecting its enhanced capabilities, the program was renamed DOHSBase Compare, with support for multiple languages including English, Dutch, German, French, Norwegian, and Spanish.
The database expanded from approximately 4,600 to over 172,000 substances, encompassing all chemicals recognized under REACH, and introduced versions tailored for both Dutch and international markets.
Transitioned from distributing updates via DVDs to promoting digital downloads, streamlining the update process for users.
The organizational structure evolved with the formation of DOHSBase BV, positioning the company for future growth.
